What is Moderation?
Moderation the process by which content submitted through our website is checked for suitability by a member of Future Business Magnates staff, either before of after it is published on this website.
Why do we use moderation?
Moderation may be used for a number of reasons:
- To ensure that no defamatory content is published.
- To add a reply to the information before it is published.
- To place the content in the correct structure.
All moderated areas of this website are maintained by members of the Future Business Magnates project team. Moderation of this site is not undertaken by Durham County Council and therefore DCC cannot be held responsible for content moderated by FBM.
Moderation Methods
Reasons for removing content via the moderation process are varied. Content may be removed if a complaint about a message is upheld or if the the content breaks FBM 'House Rules'.
Content which quotes all or part of a 'removed message' may also be removed.
After content is removed from the website an email may be sent to explain why. If you feel one of your messages has been removed unjustly, please reply to the email. Anyone who regularly breaks the House Rules may be banned from using the website.
