Navigating This Website

Sections

The site is split into a number of main 'sections'. Each section contains relevant sub-sections/links.

The Breadcrumb Trail

We use a navigational aid on all of our web pages known as a breadcrumb trail. The breadcrumb trail is a set of clickable links which enables web users to trace their placement within the website. It also tells users who join the website from a search engine, whereabouts they are within the website structure. As a user moves through the website, a link is added to the Breadcrumb Trail at each level. The Breadcrumb Trail is located at the top of every page and looks something like this:

Home > Health and Social Care > Disabilities > Learning Disabilities

Site Map

The site map provides an overview of the site’s structure and a breakdown of each section and it’s relevant sub-sections.

Site Search

There is a search box located at the top of every web page on this site. Simply place your cursor in the box and type in your chosen keyword(s), press the return (or enter) key to search for your keywords within the site.
